On one of our epic trips, we trekked 7000 steps down to a village called Mynriah. A small village where no vehicles could go, and you could reach there only on foot. Thus, the ‘7000 Steps’ seemed to represent the inaccessibility of the villages and the struggles of our farmers.

So, when the time came to supply coffee in our region to the outside world, 7000 Steps Coffee seemed an apt name for it.

Our coffee beans come from remote coffee-growing villages here in North-East India. To assure you get the best quality coffee every time, we process it in-house for maximum purity.

Nagaland Honey Coffee

A single-origin delight hailing from the enchanting Mokokchung district in Nagaland, India.

What is honey coffee?

Honey coffee is a unique coffee processing method where the beans are dried with some or all of the sticky, honey-like fruit pulp intact, resulting in a sweeter and more nuanced flavor profile.

Rare and Limited

Nagaland honey coffee is not as widely available as other coffee varieties. Its production is limited, making it a unique and sought-after specialty coffee. By trying it, you get the opportunity to savor a rare and exclusive coffee experience that is not easily found elsewhere.

Artisanal Craftsmanship

Nagaland honey coffee is often produced by small-scale farmers who meticulously hand-process the coffee beans. The attention to detail and artisanal craftsmanship involved in its production result in a superior quality coffee that showcases the dedication and passion of the farmers. It's a chance to appreciate the skill and care that goes into creating this exceptional brew.

Flavor Complexity

The honey processing method used in Nagaland honey coffee lends itself to a complex flavor profile. Along with the inherent sweetness, you may discover subtle notes of fruitiness, floral undertones, or even hints of caramel. This intricate taste experience offers a delightful journey for coffee enthusiasts seeking new and intriguing flavor combinations.
